Cost of getting divorced

Thailand Divorce

Since it appears that I MUST be represented by an attorney because a divorce of this kind requires a judicial court, I would be interested in a cost estimate and a general idea of how this process will work.

We offer service for divorce in different categories. Cost would start at 90,000 THB and would depend on the complexity of the case. We advice for you to speak and discuss with our family lawyer for you to know your options. See the full details of divorce litigation in Thailand.

Since Divorce is not yet recognized in The Philippines, your Thai husband must initiate the divorce and process it in Thailand.

    Hi
I have been separated for 9 years with my Ex Filipino husband. He got a new wife with kids while I was working abroad. I am now based in Thailand and last 2014, I met an American guy in the church and we fell for each other. We have been in a relationship for a year now, And he told me that he wanted to marry me in the US. Can I divorce my ex husband in Thailand and get married in the US? Please advise. Thank you.

No, you cannot file divorce because you and your previous partner are both Filipinos. You must return to the Philippines and file for annulment. You may get in touch with the Philippine embassy regarding this.
