Hi I am planning to live in Thailand for two years. I will be arriving there on a Non Immigrant B Visa and then looking to obtain a work permit. What is the ideal length of insurance I should get?

    • June 11, 2021

      Dear Juan,
      Good day.
If your initial Non Immigrant B visa is only 90 days, you are only required to show 90 days validity of COVID 19 insurance for you to get the COE. However, you are freely allowed to extend your insurance within Thailand.
      Thank you.

      Dear Yann,
      Good day.
If you have no return flight when you re-enter Thailand in September, you need to have a 90-day COVID 19 Insurance.
      Thank you.

      Dear John,
      Good day.
In order for you to travel one-way to Thailand, you are supposed to obtain a 90-day Non Immigrant O visa and COE. This would mean, you also need to have a COVID 19 insurance valid for 90 days.
      Thank you.
