What are approved sealed flight numbers?

There are several sealed flights available.

Approved sealed flight numbers for Samui begin with PG51xx.

I have 2 questions. Hope you can help.

    (1) We will arive in Thailand on the 17th of Juli. As unvaccinated travelers we will need to provide a negative PCR test result. We have scheduled the tests 2 days before departure, with the results coming in 24 hours later. When is the best time to register for the Thailand Pass? Should we complete the process now and upload the test results shortly before departure by editing our request?

    (2) We are bringing with us a 2 year old and a 5 year old kid. Is there anything extra to take into account regarding their application?

    • June 1, 2022

      Hi JD,

The Pass will take 24 to 48 hours, but on July there maybe some changes if Thailand Pass is still required. Just incase, your child must be put under your name, there’s a button for additional.

All are recorded on the blue government vaxx card provided by Cambodia government here in Phnom Penh.

QUESTION: Do I need to get a new, FOURTH booster more recent than the others? Or is it OK to have three, no matter what time frame?

    Dear Support,
I need to travel to Sydney / Australia and have booked a Thai Airlines flight. I’m wondering if I need this
Thai Pass for the change flight stop in Bangkok. Waiting time in Bangkok from Germany is 2,5 hours, on the
journey back 4 hours, all flights by Thai Airways.
On another page I read that my passport has to be more than 6 month to expiry date, is this correct?

I would be very thankful if you answer my 2 questions.

    1) From May 1 there is no pre-departure covid requirement, nor a covid test on arrival requirement to enter Thailand. Is that correct?

    2) My Thai pass was approved on 23 April under old requirements for my travel on 19th May so, this pass is still valid for me to enter with . Is that correct?

The Hotel has the power to approve your Thailand Pass. If you do not pay to the hotel directly, they will not approve it. if they do not honor your Expedia booking, you have no choice but to pay the hotel and ask for refund from Expedia. The only website that is acceptable for Thailand Pass application is Agoda. But the package that you need to purchase must be Test and Go package.

One very important piece of information that the Thai media got wrong is the cut-off date for arriving in Thailand. Basically, there isn’t one. Earlier this week, the media were saying you must arrive before 10th January if you didn’t want to do quarantine. That is not true. You can arrive on the date that was approved on your application.

    Hi Paul,
We got our TH pass a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, our original flight to Bkk (don mueng airport) just got cancelled, and I will need to repurchase a new ticket from a different airline which only flies to Suvarnabhumi airport. Will I have a problem at customs?

Also, you mentioned the pass is valid for 72 hours window from the original flight time. My question is, would I be able to bring forward my flight?

    TIA for your help.

      Dear Alicia,

Yes, you can use the same Thailand Pass if you will still arrive in Bangkok and you will still do Test and Go in Bangkok. I suggest that you arrive on the same day as stated in Date of Arrival if possible.
      Thank you.

    Hello,

I have tried leaving a comment several times but it always disappears after a few hours… am I doing something wrong?

We will be travelling to Thailand from Australia next month with our children aged 1 and 3.

Do the children need a PCR test before departing Australia? And will they need to be tested once we arrive in Thailand?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Regards,
    Alex

      Dear Alex,

      Good day.
The children are ONLY exempted from vaccination requirement. They still need to have Thailand Pass, Insurance, COVID test before the flight and upon arrival in Thailand.
      Thank you.

    Hello,

Could you, please, consult on the following:

On the 25th December I have a flight to Phuket through Bangkok from Russia. I’m fully vaccinated and plan to use Sanbox program (I have already booked a SHA+ hotel in Phuket). Should I pass PCR-test in Bangkok upon arrival, book SHA+ hotel in Bangkok and wait for results there? Or I could have a connecting flight to Phuket without PCR in Bangkok and pass PCR upon arrival to Phuket?

    Kind regards and thank you!

      Hi Ksenia,

If your first arrival city in Thailand is Bangkok, you have to do your Sandbox at an AQ/SHA+ hotel in Bangkok for 7 nights before you can travel to Phuket. However, if you wish to do Sandbox in Phuket, we recommend booking a flight that lands directly in Phuket.

      Thank you.

    Hi

I am planning to change hotel that I have received my thailand pass with.

Does it mean I need to re-apply for another thailand pass with new hotel details?

    Kind regards.

    • November 18, 2021

      Hi Hanna,

Yes you will need to reapply for a Thailand Pass.

      Thank you.

    Hello.
I am vaccinated, and have the “yellow vaccination book” and a certificate on paper (proof of vaccination). When I apply for Thailand Pass, is this accepted as proof of vaccination ? I don`t have a smartphone and no digital vaccination certificate yet (so no QR-code). Thank you

    • November 18, 2021

      Hi Joe,

If your document clearly states your name, vaccine type and date of vaccination that is considered a proof of vaccination.

      Thank you.

Does my vaccination certificate need to show my middle name? NHS Scotland insist that it is not needed and will provide the certificate only in first name + last name format .

    • November 16, 2021

      Dear John,

      Good day.
It is acceptable if your middle name is not stated in your vaccination document. Just make sure that your name and date of birth are stated.
      Thank you.

    Thank you

    • November 16, 2021

      Dear Chris,

      Good day.
It is too early to say what will be the requirement in February 2022. As of today, it is still required to apply for Thailand Pass to enter Thailand and it is still required to have a COVID insurance.
      Thank you.

How long is the Thailand pass valid for. Thanks.

    • November 16, 2021

      Dear Jim,

      Good day.
The Thailand Pass is valid for one trip. However, if you need to change your flight, you may use the same Thailand Pass as long as your new flight is within 72 hours from the original flight time.
      Thank you.

I have my Thailand pass. Arrived on the 10th of January and staying until 22nd of March.
Is my pass valid for this period of time meaning I don’t need to apply for the extended visa.
      Please Rex can you reply

    • January 14, 2022

      Dear Anna,

      Good day.
Thailand Pass is not a visa. It is only a document that allows you to enter Thailand. For your visa, please check your entry stamp and visit the immigration office to apply for an extension if necessary.
      Thank you.

Do you have to have organised transport from Phuket International Airport or can you get a taxi/bus.
    Is transport automatic?

    • November 16, 2021

      Dear Patrick,

      Good day.
The transport from Airport to Hotel must be organized by your SHA+ hotel. For the COVID test at the airport, please go to http://www.thailandpsas.com
      Thank you.

Hi – is Puerto Rico considered the US in terms of quarantine free travel? I am travelling to Puerto Rico from Thailand, need to know if I should book Phuket sandbox or reenter through Bangkok. Thanks

    • November 16, 2021

      Dear Sam,

      Good day.
Yes, you can apply under USA. It means you are qualified to do the No Quarantine program. You do not need to do the Sandbox Program.
      Thank you.
