What are approved sealed flight numbers?

There are several sealed flights available.

Approved sealed flight numbers for Samui begin with PG51xx.

It looks outdated since Thailand Pass is not needed as of 1 July.
So such as “can not hire taxi in Samui” or “taking covid test after arriving Samui” is not correct any more?
    Please confirm.

Hi, I will transit at Bangkok in the middle of July. My flight from DOH to TPE is booked on the same ticket, and there is no need to recheck my baggage. Do I still need Covid insurance of USD10,000 and PCR proof for transit in SUVARNABHUMI international airport?
Thank you for answering my questions.

    Hello,

Please can you answer my questions below as confused if we still need to apply for a Thailand Pass and what Covid tests we need to do
    1. Our family fly from the UK to Phuket on 10th August via a connection flight in Vienna. Do we have to add Vienna as “Other visited countries within 14 days before arrival”
    2. Is BKK our first port of entry into Thailand or Phuket, which do we put as this is a connection flight?
    3. We are all fully vaccinated with certificates, do we still need to do a Covid test (if so which one would we need to do and when?)

    Regards
    Roy

    • June 29, 2022

      Hi Roy,

Effective on July 1st , Thailand Pass is no longer required.

If you are all fully vaccinated, bring your vaccination certificate and Passport.

    Hi,

I’ve very recently recovered from covid and I am due to fly beginning of July.

I am not vaccinated and I’m worried that my professional covid test may still show as positive even though I’ve recovered from covid.

Do you accept a covid recovery certificate from unvaccinated travellers?

    • June 29, 2022

      Hi Heather,

You can bring you certificate of recovery, if still unvaccinated you need to have negative RT PCR within 72 hours of your flight. If shows up positive , you will send to quarantine facility. Better to get insurance with covid medical coverage with a minimum of USD 10,000.

      Thank you

Our family are traveling to Thailand from the UK to Phuket with a connection flight in Vienna. On the Thailand Pass do I just put the second half of the flight into Thailand on our pass (from Vienna) or do I have to say we visited another country within 14 days ? We are not leaving the airport in Vienna

Secondly, do we put the very first airport we land in Thailand (BKK) or our final destination airport which is Phuket?

    Kind regards
    Roy

    • June 29, 2022

      Hi Roy,

If you will travel July 1st onwards, nothing to worry with Thailand Pass as it is no longer required. If within the month of June, you can put the first point in Thailand at your Thailand Pass.

Does that mean that when I fly after 1st of July I do not need thailand pass and an ATK is sufficient which is then checked by my airline?

    • June 24, 2022

Yes, that is correct. You do not need Thailand Pass. Just come with your passport, visa (if needed) and your COVID test test.

I am unvaccinated. The FAQ says I should apply for Thailand pass not less than 3 days before arrival. At the same time the result of the ATK or PCR test shall not be older than 72h (which is also 3 days). This means I have exactly this 1 second to apply for thailand pass? (since I do not know the exact second I am entering Thailand this is impossible) It seems to be impossible to finish the form without uploading the test result.

The other point is: the FAQ says I do need a PCR and an official ATK test is not suffiecient. In the application form I can also choose ATK. Do I need a PCR or is an ATK sufficient?

    Thanks

    • June 29, 2022

      Hi Gerald,

That would be fine, Thailand Pass only takes 30 minutes upto an hour to process. You can do RT PCR if you are unvaccinated

Hi, I see the Thai Pass is necessary if baggage needs to be re-checked in at immigration. How can I confirm I need to leave the transit area and go to immigration for my flight if I am transiting through Thailand.

For context, I am going from India to Hong Kong via Bangkok with a 3-hour layover, and my flights are booked on the same ticket.

Also, if I do need to go through immigration, do I need to also apply for a transit visa? How long does it take for an applicant to receive?

Thank you so much for all your help. A quick reply will be greatly appreciated as my flight is this weekend!

    Hi!

I have already applied for my Thailand Pass and it’s already been approved. Just as a sanity check – I officially have 3 given names stated in my passport, but I had only filled in my first name and my last name.

Can I assume this will not be a problem when entering Thailand, since the pass has been approved already?

      Hi Riz,

Better to put your whole name, you can re apply.

    Good Day,

I will be flying from phnom Penh, Cambodia to Hong Kong via Bangkok, however the flight tickets are separated(two different airlines), as I know I will need to get through the immigration in order to get my luggage and then to re-check in for the flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong. The transit time is only 2 hours, do I need a Thailand pass?

    Thank you in advance!

Hi, my transit time in BKK is around 10 hours and I would like to use that long transit time to get out the airport and travel around the city. I realised that Thai Pass needed me to fill in hotel address which I’m not planning to book for just a few hours city trip. Is it possible to apply the pass for such short trip without booking the hotel?

On the Thailand Pass registration page it asks about “Other visited countries within 14 days before arrival”, do I have to put United Arab Emirates (transit country) – I will not leave Abu Dhabi airport, just go through transit – or do I just put Spain?

    Hi, good day.

We are departing from the Philippines this coming June 15 for an event. Initially, the hotel booking that we submitted for the Thailand Pass is from June 15-19, 2022. We already have the QR Code and it’s from 15th until the 18th. However we have to transfer to a different hotel from 19 to 21.
Do we need to apply for new Thailand Pass with the new hotel booking number/information?

Based on the information you have given, you need to use this Thailand Pass and arrive to Thailand on June 8, June 9, June 10 or June 11. You are given extra days in case of flight delay.

My partner is a Thai national and will be travelling to visit her family in Thailand on the 8th of June using her UK passport as her Thai passport has expired. Will she be exempt from Thailand Pass as she was born in Thailand, or will she still need the pass because she is travelling on a UK passport?

    • June 14, 2022

      Hi David,

Since she will use foreign passport, she need to apply Thailand Pass like other foreign traveler requirements.

      Thank you

    Hi,

My husband couldn’t check the status of his Thailand Pass application using the access code he received-access denied was prompted in the page. He uploaded documents in pdf format instead of jpeg. What must he do? Can he submit another application?

    • May 27, 2022

      Dear Vivian,

It is a common technical glitch. Just wait for the result by email or check the status after 24 hours from the time you submitted the application.
      Thank you.

We are due to travel to Thailand with my young son who is only 2 months old. We are unable to get insurance for him with Axa, FWD or MSIG as they only offer from 1 year onwards. Are we still required to have insurance for him? If so, who can we get this from?
