After discontinuing the TM6 form, Thailand’s immigration authorities have replaced the old paper entry requirement in favor of a digital one: The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC Thailand). Starting May 1st, 2025, all foreign-citizen travelers to Thailand, regardless of visa status or stay duration, must complete the TDAC before they can legally enter Thailand.
This page will explain what the TDAC Thailand is and why the government requires it, as well as provide a guide with step-by-step instructions on how to complete it so that you can avoid travel disruptions.
What is the TDAC Thailand?
The TDAC Thailand is a new digital travel requirement that is designed to help immigration authorities track foreign citizens who enter Thailand. It is intended to prevent criminal elements from entering the country and provide better security for visitors and citizens alike. It also includes a health declaration to help prevent the spread of communicable diseases from abroad.
The TDAC replaced the TM6 form, which was discontinued in 2024. This was a paper form that visitors needed to fill out, present to the border agent upon entry, and keep so that it could be shown again upon exiting Thailand. It was also required for certain immigration procedures, such as the Thai 90-day report.
Now you will instead receive an electronic confirmation of your TDAC registration after completing the online form, which you will need to present to a border agent similar to the old TM6 requirement.
Who has to complete the TDAC Thailand?
All non-Thai citizens must register for a Thailand Digital Arrival Card before they enter the country. This applies to holders of all kinds of Thai visas, from the standard Thai tourist visa to long-term resident visas, such as the DTV Visa Thailand and the Thailand Privilege Visa.
The TDAC must be completed for EVERY entry into Thailand, regardless of port of entry or travel method (air, land, or sea). Also, every member of a family traveling together must complete a TDAC, although the online system allows for joint applications to make the process smoother.
Is the TDAC a Visa?
No, the TDAC Thailand is NOT a visa or a travel document of any kind. While it is required to enter the country, it does not authorize your entry into Thailand. To enter the Kingdom, you will still need a visa.
If you are eligible for Thailand visa exemption program, you will not need to apply for a visa before arriving, but you will need to complete the TDAC. Failure to do so will lead to delays at the border, as you will not be granted entry until you do.
How to Register Online for the TDAC Thailand
Before you begin the registration process for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card, there are some key facts you should be aware of.
- You can register for the TDAC up to 3 days (72 hours) before your arrival. For example, if you are planning to arrive in Thailand on May 1st (the day the TDAC requirement is enforced), you can start the registration process on April 28th.
- You can complete the TDAC on the day of your arrival.
- The TDAC does not require a fee or payment of any kind.
- Instructions are available in five languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese.
What is needed for the TDAC?
Before using the Thailand Digital Arrival Card website, prepare your travel documents and the information required by the system. Collect the following before you start:

Step-by-Step Guide for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card
Thailand immigration authorities are planning to roll out an app for the TDAC and implement it into several online platforms to give travelers many ways to complete their registration. However, at launch, the most reliable way to complete TDAC registration is through the official Thailand Immigration TDAC page.
Before starting, be sure to have your passport on hand. Also, have your travel and accommodation booking confirmations or receipts with you, as they will be needed to complete TDAC Thailand registration. You will need to enter details about your flight or vehicle number, as well as the address of your accommodation.
TDAC Step 1
Visit the official page, and begin by selecting “Arrival Card.” You will then be prompted to fill in personal details about yourself, including your nationality, travel document number, and phone number. Only the fields marked with a red asterisk are required to proceed
Once you have filled in these fields, continue to the next page.
TDAC Step 2
Next, you will need to enter details about your method of traveling to Thailand as well as where you will be staying. While departure information is not required to complete this process, you may still be required to provide proof of onward travel when you enter Thailand, depending on your visa.
Finding all parts of your accommodation’s address may be challenging, but the system helps by narrowing down your options. Once you select a province, the district and sub-district drop-down menus will change to reflect your selection, providing the appropriate options for that province.
TDAC Step 3
Finally, proceed to the next page where you will need to complete a health declaration, which consists of simply listing where you have been in the past couple of weeks. If you have been to a country for which Thailand has issued health or disease warnings, you may be required to show proof of vaccination or submit to a health inspection upon arrival.
TDAC Step 4
At this point, you may select “Add Other Travelers” if you are traveling with a group and want to handle all the TDACs at once. If not, just follow the on-screen prompts to submit your TDAC application. You will receive an electronic confirmation of your approval via e-mail. Save this confirmation to your device and store a copy online, ideally in cloud storage. This way, you can access it whenever you need it.
TDAC Step 5
When you arrive in Thailand and pass through the immigration checkpoint, the border officer will ask to see your TDAC confirmation. Simply show them your device; you do not need to print out a paper copy. Once you have entered Thailand, DO NOT delete your TDAC confirmation. You may need to show it again when you leave the country.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card FAQs
Still have questions? Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about the Thailand Digital Arrival Card:
Do you have to do the TDAC for each entry into Thailand?
Yes. No matter what kind of visa or travel document you have, you must do TDAC registration for every entry into Thailand.
When will the TDAC be enforced?
Starting May 1st, 2025, all non-Thai travelers to Thailand must complete the TDAC before entry.
I will be entering Thailand visa-free. Do I still need to do the TDAC?
Yes. All foreign citizens need to provide TDAC confirmation whether or not they are entering on a visa.
I need to extend my visa or transfer to a new Thai visa. Do I need to complete a separate TDAC?
No, but you will still need to keep your most recent TDAC confirmation information. This will be required for certain immigration tasks, including visa extensions and transfers.
Is the TM6 arrival card still required?
No. The TM6 form arrival card has been canceled and replaced with the Thailand Digital Arrival Card.
How can I get a TDAC?
While multiple platforms are planned, currently, the most reliable way to do the TDAC is on the official Thailand Immigration TDAC website. There will be a paper option at launch, but this will be phased out eventually.
How can you fill in the TDAC?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card must be completed online but can be done with smartphones, laptops, or any other internet-connected device. Check the step-by-step instructions above for instructions on how to do the TDAC.
When do you have to do the TDAC registration?
At most, you can complete TDAC registration up to 3 days before arriving in Thailand. There is no minimum time to complete it before you arrive, but approval may take time, so if you wait until you actually land in Thailand, you will experience further delays if your TDAC is not done ahead of time.
Can you still use the paper TM6 form?
Initially, Thailand Immigration will allow paper arrival cards to help ease the transition to the TDAC. However, this paper option is temporary and will be phased out.
Do I need a vaccine to complete the TDAC?
Typically, no. No vaccinations are universally required to enter Thailand, including the COVID-19 vaccine. However, if you have been in a country on Thailand’s warning list for Yellow Fever, you must show proof of yellow fever vaccination before entering the country. The TDAC includes this option as part of its health declaration section.
Can I update my TDAC information after I submit it?
Yes, but not all of it. Most information, such as travel and accommodation information, can be changed or updated after submitting your initial TDAC application. However, personal identity information, including your name, passport number, citizenship, and birthdate, cannot be changed. If you make a mistake in these fields, you will have to submit a new TDAC registration.
Do I need to show an onward ticket or departure plan to do the TDAC?
That depends on your Thai visa. If you are entering under a tourist visa or with a visa-free stamp, yes you must show that you will leave Thailand by including departure information in your TDAC registration. If you are moving to Thailand or settling indefinitely, then no, you can skip that part.
Is the TDAC different from the TM30 form?
Yes, these are separate processes. The TM30 reports your location of residence or accommodation in Thailand. Both are required to avoid legal trouble, but the TM30 is typically the landlord or accommodation owner’s responsibility.

I just paid £104 for 2 people . I think I got scammed
Hello Joyce,
The official TDAC application is free. If you were asked to pay, it likely wasn’t through the legitimate platform.
Here is the official site:

Can I fill in the TDAC form when I arrive , or do I have to do it before
Hello Doris,
You can complete the TDAC form within 3 days before arriving in Thailand. However, if you haven’t done it in advance, you can still complete it at a kiosk at the airport upon arrival.
I am an Indian citizen currently in Thailand. I arrived on 20th July 2025, with an initial planned return to India on 26th July 2025, as reflected in my TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) submission. However, due to a change in plans, my stay has been extended by one week, and I will now be returning on 2nd August 2025.
I attempted to update my return date on the TDAC portal, but the system is not allowing me to modify the exit date. Kindly advise on how I can update this information. For reference, my passport shows a valid entry stamp permitting stay in Thailand until 17th September 2025.
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
Hi Deepak,
You do not need to update your exit date on the TDAC portal. The TDAC is only used for arrival processing, and immigration officers do not require you to modify your departure information afterward. As long as your passport entry stamp is valid until 17th September 2025, you are allowed to stay until then without issue.
Hello,
I completed the TDAC and was not asked for my email address.
In the Thai immigration site it was mentioned that on the 1st of March 2025, the email filed was removed. Yet after that some people claim that they have received an email.
Can you confirm whether or not there is an option to type in your email address. And should I complete the TDAC again, if I did not have that option. My flight is in 2 days.
Thank you,
Hi Nick,
It’s best to complete the TDAC form again with your email included. You can find the email field at the very bottom of the preview section, just before accepting the terms and conditions. Once you submit the form, you should receive a confirmation email immediately with your QR code and arrival card number.
I am autralian but on the entry form it says you can only stop for 30 days
Can l stop for 60 days
Hello Alan,
Australian citizens can enter Thailand without applying for a visa and will receive a free 60‑day entry stamp under the visa exemption scheme.
You must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 3 days before your arrival. You can submit it here: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
Hi can you please help.
I am trying to fill in the digital arrival card for Thailand however some of the fields are not allowing me to enter anything. I have tried on my mobile and my computer and I am getting nervous as I am leaving in a wk.
The date field on one section / the drop downs and some fields you just cannot type into?
Please help and provide an alternative way of doing this.
Concerned.
Hi Sharon,
You can submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) starting 3 days before your arrival date in Thailand, including the day you arrive. The system will not allow you to choose dates beyond this 3-day window, which is why you cannot fill out the form earlier. Since you’re leaving in a week, you will need to wait until you are within that 3-day period before submitting the TDAC.
I have to travelling to Phuket Island on this August… Can the e- arrival card filled in for 4 person
Hello Tai,
Yes, you can fill the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for 4 people in one submission. Once you finish entering your own TDAC details, you can add another traveler by clicking “Add Other Travelers”. Enter details for all 4 people, review everything, then click submit. The earliest you can submit the TDAC is 3 days before your arrival date in Thailand.
I normally have a Non Imm O Visa (Year) but I forgot to do a re-entry this time. For my entry into Thailand I will have to come in on the tourist stamp (to start the process again), but in the TDAC form it asks for country of residence. Ordinarily I would put Thailand as that’s where I am for 10 months of a year, but this time should I put UK, given that I’ll be recognised on the system as a tourist?
Hello Katherine,
You can select Thailand as your country of residence on the TDAC form, even if you’re entering on a tourist stamp this time. This won’t cause any issues.
Hi , I’m planning to enter Thailand just for a few hours , and will not be staying overnight anywhere .. will I still need to fill in the section about accommodation name and address ? Thanks for the info . 🙏
Hello Patrick,
When you enter the same arrival and departure date on the TDAC, the system automatically disables the accommodation field. This means you do not need to fill in hotel details for short visits without overnight stays. This is normal and part of how the system is designed to handle such cases.
I arrive in Thailand with a TDAC. If I leave Thailand and return within 10 days, do I need a second TDAC?
Hello Geoff,
Yes, you will need to complete a new TDAC for each entry into Thailand. So if you leave and return within 10 days, a new TDAC submission is required before re-entry.
Hello. For the new TDAC, if I am returning on a retirement, my ‘Country of Residence’ and address would be Thailand yes?
Hi Peter,
Yes, you can select Thailand as your country of residence and use your Thai address when filling out the TDAC application.
I have submitted the form but I have not received an email – how long should the email take?
Hello Rebecca,
If you haven’t received the confirmation email, please ensure that your TDAC submission was made within the appropriate timeframe, not more than 72 hours before your scheduled arrival in Thailand. If it was submitted too early or if no confirmation has been received, we recommend submitting a new application. You should receive the confirmation email immediately after reapplying.
How many visa exempt entries are allowed via air for a US citizen per year? I have read of tourists getting denied entry on their third entry attempt via air.
Hello Moose,
There’s no official limit on visa-exempt entries by air, regardless of nationality. However, making multiple entries within a short period can raise concerns, and immigration officers may deny entry on your third or fourth visit. If you plan to return often, applying for a tourist visa is recommended.
Hello I’m arriving in Bangkok on the 24/7/ 25.
I’m staying one night in Bangkok then flying to Hong Kong for two nights returning to Bangkok on the 27/7/25.
Do I need to fill out a new visa application on returning from Hong Kong to Thailand.
Or does the visa application I fill out for arriving on the 24/7/25 still be valid .
Thank you.
Hello Trevor,
If you’re referring to the TDAC, yes — you’ll need to fill it out again before your second entry on the 27th. The TDAC is required each time you arrive in Thailand, even for short trips out and back in.
If i am staying in Bangkok and then moving on to Phukett which hotel address do i use ? or can you enter both ?
Hello Simon,
For the TDAC, you only need to enter the address of your first night’s stay in Thailand. So if you’re staying in Bangkok first, use the Bangkok hotel address. There’s no need to include the Phuket hotel in the form.
I travel from Kastrup Danmark Airport 2025/07/17 by Thai Airways flight no. TG951 to Bangkok
but I can not fill in depart date, it automaticly changes depart date to 2025/07/18 !
I also can not fill in land of departing Danmark, because it is not on your list.
Please hälp me !
Hello Richard,
The “departure date” field refers to when you plan to leave Thailand, not your flight from Denmark. You can leave the departure date blank as it is not a required field.
As for the departure country, try typing “Denmark” or “Kingdom of Denmark”.
how do I change my departure date on the TDAC
Hello Peter,
You cannot. You’ll need to submit a new TDAC.
Hi,
I am leaving LAX in Los Angeles to fly to Bangkok, but I have a layover in Hong Kong on the way.
Which location do I enter for TDAC Step 2 where it says “Country/Territory where you boarded.” Would it be USA for my original departure or Hong Kong for my stop over location just before Thailand.
Thanks in advance!
-James
Hi James,
You can enter either the flight from the USA or the one from Hong Kong — whichever you prefer. Both are acceptable, and it won’t affect your TDAC submission.

You’re probably on the wrong site — the official TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is free and doesn’t require any payment. Make sure to use the correct website to avoid scams.

Hi,
Are the web-site https://tdac.agents.co.th/ trusted tor TDAC forms. I
In only found explanations on how to fill in on your site. Where is the form to fill in?
Hi Heidi,
That website is not the official TDAC portal and is likely a private or third-party service.
The only trusted place to submit the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is the official government site — and it’s completely free.
Here is the official link below:
https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
Hello, I wanted to register my TDAC, it says “… There is no minimum time to complete it before you arrive..” which I assumed I can do in advance, but I cannot – so I assume I will do it 3 days before my arrival according to my local time of arrival, in this case being 16th of Sept? Second, when I went to the arrival dates, I am unable to set date of departure before my arrival date, although I will depart 15th Sept, I will arrive 16th Sept due to flight time + layover + time zone shift. What can I do in this situation? Match my depart date and arrival date to 1. Date of depart or 2. Date of arrival?
Thanks in advance
Hello Martin,
The TDAC can only be filled out within 3 days before your arrival in Thailand. So in your case, you can start filing it from September 13.
For the departure date field, it refers to when you’ll leave Thailand—not when you’re leaving your home country. You can leave the departure date blank, as it’s not required, or enter your planned exit date from Thailand if you already know it.
THE 3-DAY REQUIREMENT FOR THE TDAC CONCERNS ME. THE TIME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY HOME AIRPORT AND THAILAND IS 18 HOURS. THAILAND IS ALREADY TUESDAY WHEN IT IS MONDAY IN ALASKA. I HAVE BEEN SPENDING TIME IN THAILAND FREQUENTLY SINCE 1966-1967. ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS, DUE TO FLIGHT DELAYS OR CANCELLATIONS AND LAY-OVERS , IT HAS TAKEN MORE THAN THREE DAYS TO GET TO THAILAND. THE NORMAL FLIGHT TIME IS APPROXIMATELY 24 HOURS. ( U.S > JAPAN> THAILAND OR U.S. >TAIWAN>THAILAND )
THERE ARE NO DIRECT FLIGHTS. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT TAKES MOR THAN THREE DAYS TO GET TO THAILAND ?
Dear Henry,
There is nothing to worry about. You may submit the TDAC even when you land in Bangkok Airport. As long as you have a wifi when you land, or you can use the tablets available near passport control.
If I apply TDAC 9th July 2025 and my flight is on 14th July 2025 from Sri Lanka to Bangkok, is that enough time for approval for TDAC as Wednesday the 10th July 2025 is a poya holiday in Sri lanka
Hi Aruni,
The TDAC application can only be submitted starting 3 days before your arrival date in Thailand. For a flight on July 14, 2025, the earliest you can apply is July 11, 2025

I leave Australia for Thailand on the 20th July. Is it okay to complete the TDAC today being the 3rd of July?
Hi David,
You’ll need to wait until you’re within 3 days of your arrival in Thailand to complete the TDAC, as the system only accepts submissions during that time frame.
Hi
I am already here in Thailand and due to go home on the 6th but I am now going to stay until the 14th. Do I need to do something as my Tdac has the 6th as departure date?
Thank you.
Hi Eddie,
No, you don’t need to do anything. The departure date you entered on the TDAC is not enforced. What matters is your entry stamp or visa — as long as that covers your stay until the 14th, you’re fine.
Good day,
I’m travelling a family of 4 adults. Is it alright to use 1device to fill TDAC?
TQ
Hi Joanne,
You can use one device to file for all 4 people. On the last page of the TDAC form, there’s a box you can check to add more travelers.

Dear Graham,
Good day.
The TDAC website is not a visa website. Whether you have a visa or not; whether you are staying for 30 or 60 days, you should be able to complete your TDAC submission. Kindly make sure that you are doing the TDAC submission on this website only:

Hello my dad has disabilities and is unable to use a smart phone for TDAC and will be applying once he hits Thailand,
Will there be someone the other end to help support him work through there tablets to apply for his TDAC?
Hello Tee,
There are kiosks in the arrival hall, and I’m sure there will be staff available to assist him with filing the TDAC once he arrives, before he goes through immigration.
Good day. I am a traveler from the Philippines and would like to inquire regarding the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC).
May I ask if registration is only required upon entry to Thailand, or is it also necessary to register the TDAC when departing from Thailand?
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.
Hi Nicole,
You only need to file the TDAC when entering Thailand, not when leaving. Just make sure to submit it within 3 days before your arrival.
I am planning to go to thailand tomorrow can i fill the tdac form today?
Hello Lina,
Yes, you can fill out the TDAC today if you’re arriving in Thailand tomorrow. The form can be submitted up to 3 days before your arrival.
Here’s the official link: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
I arrive in Thailand on 1 July 2025. The arrival card will not accept any date after 29 June 2025 on my form on 26 June 2025. It seems to me that the form will not accept my flight date more than 3 days before my flight. At this stage the form will not allow me to enter my address in Thailand. I am worried as I wish to comply with Thai Immigration. I have had a retirement visa each year for 11 years since 2014.
HELP
Hello Robert
The TDAC system only allows you to file within 3 days before your arrival date. For a July 1 arrival, the earliest you can file is June 28.
That’s why the form won’t let you move forward yet. Just return to the site on or after June 28 and you’ll be able to complete it.
Here’s the official link: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
For one day trip, the driver need to fill the accommodation part as well? Bacause if I choose same arrival and depart date, the accommodation part can’t be fill. If need to fill, how? Thank you.
Dear Pailin,
Good day.
When you fill out the TDAC, I believe there is an option to tick a box for transit and in this case, you will not be required to provide the details of accommodation.
Thank you.
Good day,
I would like to know if we travel with family of 4 adults, do you think it is better we fill 1 TDAC same device?
Or it is better to fill each differently?
Your prompt response is highly appreciated TQ
Hi Joanne,
You can use one device to complete the TDAC for all 4 travelers. On the final page of the form, there’s a checkbox that lets you add more people to the same submission before you send it in.
Here is the official website: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
Hi , just to confirm if I forgot to fill up the TDAC and I’m already at the airport, I’m I not be able to enter at all or I can fill up the TDAC over there and if so how long I need to wait over there ?
Dear Ehab,
Yes you can still do the TDAC submission even on the day you land at the airport. You can do it using your mobile phone or the tablets provided at the airport.
Thank you.
Is Thailand digital visa free ?
I went to a site and it was $114
Dear Suha,
Yes, the Thailand Digital Arrival Card or TDAC is free of charge. The official and only website for the TDAC is this link below:
https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
Thank you.
When I apply, it will not allow me to put the day of entry in
This usually happens when you’re trying to file the TDAC too early. You can only submit it within 3 days before your arrival—anytime from 3 days out up until you arrive in Thailand.
Hi, one question, when filing the form it asks the country wehre you boarded, but as i take two airplanes I am not quite sure which is the country I should select, the first one or the country where I do stopover?
Thank you!!
Dear Alessandro,
It will be the country where you boarded the flight that lands in Thailand. Yes, it is the country where you had stopover before arriving in Thailand.
Thank you.

Yes that is possible. You may start to register yourself first and then there is an option to ADD another passenger/applicant.
Do I need TDAC if I just have a 6 hour layover at Bangkok airport? Thank you
Dear John,
Good day. You do not need to submit TDAC if you will not go through passport control. However, if your layover in Bangkok Airport requires you to clear immigration and customs and check in again, then you must submit TDAC.
Dear Sir/Madam Thai Immigration
My wife and two children (17 yo and 20 yo) will be flying (from Sydney, Australia) into Bangkok for 4 nights as part of a multi country holiday on 7th July 2025. It appears that we do not require a visa but are able to enter your country under the current visa exemption program. It also appears each member of my family are required to submit a TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card).
My question is: Do we need to submit a TDAC as well as another document for a Visa exemption or is the TDAC all we need to complete?
If it’s only the TDAC, could you please confirm this and possibly send me the official link to the online form as it appears there are several similar forms available at various online sites and I’m not sure which one is correct?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
With Kind regards, Dan Dubowski
Hello Dan,
You only need to submit the TDAC for each family member, no additional visa application is required.
You can file the TDAC as early as 3 days before your arrival date, up until the day you arrive. The official site is https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
I intend to go to the Kingdom of Thailand. I will stay here for a month, but a week after my arrival I will go to Vietnam. Do I need to show my exit card or return flight number?
Dear Zakariya,
There’s no requirement to show proof of exit or a return flight when leaving Thailand.
very helpful !
I am planning to stay in multiple locations which includes overnight rail travel. Is it necessary to account for every night?
Dear Max,
The TDAC only required for your entry to Thailand. Any domestic travel within Thailand, you do not need to submit TDAC. As for the accommodation requested in your TDAC, you may provide the first address where you will be staying. Thank you.
I looking for the link can’t find it .?
Dear Siriwan,
Thank you for your comment. Please see the TDAC link below:

I tried to complete the form online, but if would not allow me to select July as the arrival month. Today is the 12th June.
We are due to arrive 19th July
How do I get around this ? Wait until 1st July ?
Thanks
Dear Paul,
The TDAC can only be submitted starting 3 days before your intended arrival. If you are arriving on July 19th, the earliest you can file is July 16th.
Hi, how to change if the name wrongly entered in the TDAC?
Hello Azari,
You will need to file a new TDAC. There is no option to edit personal information once it has been submitted.
I will be traveling with my mom but i filled out my own TDAC form and wasn’t able to include her as family member. Is that okay? Also i didnt get to input our middle names, just the initials, do i need to submit a new updated TDAC form?
Dear Sugar,
The best option is to file a new TDAC for each person. Make sure the information matches exactly as it appears on each passport.
Can i apply the Tdac 10 days before the arrival?
Maximum three days before arrival is allowed.
Hi! I didn’t quite understand when to fill out the TDAC. I’m arriving in Thailand on June 15th, can I fill it out now? 9th or 10th of June? Thanks
Maximum three days before arrival is allowed.
We will be leaving Malaysia to visit Krabi and Hat Yai this coming September. We take one-way flight to Krabi. We apply on TDAC group registration and need to know about Thailand Health Declaration form. Where can we find the form to visit our local doctors for health checkup?
Dear Nathanael,
The health declaration is only required for travelers coming from one of the 45 Yellow Fever countries before entering Thailand. Since you are traveling from Malaysia, you do not need a health declaration. You can simply skip that section on the TDAC.
Can I apply for my tdm6 form 4 days before I travel
Dear Andrew,
When you log in to the TDAC Website it will show you the arrival dats that can apply for the TDAC. Whether you can apply 4 days before arrival, I think it is better to see the website. You can submit TDAC even when you land. I see some areas at Bangkok Airport where you can fill out TDAC on a monitor or tablet.
It will not let me apply for entry card online and asking for payment
Dear Wayne,
Good day.
Please beware of some websites posing as a TDAC website. There is no fee to be paid for the submission of TDAC. You may do the TDAC submission only through this website below:

If I want to extend my stay while on my trip to Thailand, but it is still within my visa period, is there a problem with the DTAC? Because I notice you can’t update your details while on the trip.
I want to extend my visit from 6 nights to 9 nights, and I’m a UK passport holder. My DTAC details say I’m staying for 6 nights.
Thanks
Hello, Dave,
No, there’s nothing else you need to do. As a British passport holder, you received a 60-day stamp on arrival under the visa exemption program. If you entered on or after May 1st, you would have completed the TDAC before being stamped in. That’s all that was required. You can adjust your stay as you wish from here.
I believe that stopovers in other countries do not count as “Please list the name of the countries/territories where you stayed within two weeks before arrival” if the time spent there was less than 12 hours. Is this correct or should stopover countries be included even if only in airport for transfer.
Dear Steve,
Yes, you are correct, you may opt not to include the transit country in the question about list of countries where you have stayed in the past 12 days.
I had planned to travel by bus from Kuala Lumpur to Hatyai, arriving on 10 June 2025 and departing on 13 June 2025. However, my application failed. I could not provide the arrival and departure bus vehicle number as it is not available. Thereafter, my application froze at the Accommodation Information section, and I could not proceed any further. Please advise.
Hello, Chia,
Leave the departure fields empty as they are not required. Also, try clearing your cookies and cache.
I am visiting Thailand. I need a TDAC card as prescribed by the Thai Government. Please help.

Hi am traveling from Oman to Bangkok on 7th of Jun ,today I submitted the TDAC ,there is any issue in immigration at airport?
Dear Hali,
For the TDAC, there should be no issue if you have received the confirmation email of your TDAC submission. However, TDAC is not a visa. You may still have to show documents regarding your trip if you are coming to Thailand and use your visa exemption.
Very helpful but I cannot understand this 3 day limit which means that many might be doing this at the last minute. I am goin to Thailand on 5th August from uk. Does mean I cannot submit form until 3 August allowing for journey time and time difference?
Dear William,
The submission of the TDAC can be done in 3 to 5 minutes. You can even do it at the airport while queueing at passport control. I see some QR codes there where people can scan through their phones and they can fill out the TDAC form. You can fill out the form on August 2 if you are arriving on August 3.
Hi, the application form does not accept my passport number. Always says some error. Tried 5 times with no results
Hello Christian,
The TDAC must be applied for within 3 days prior to your arrival. However, if you still encounter any issues upon arrival, airport staff will be available to assist you.
Good morning.
Just wanted to double-check this to be absolutely sure…
My daughter (15 yrs old) will travel solo from Yangon (MYA) via BKK (Suvannabhumi apt) to Amsterdam (NL) middle of this month. She will NOT enter the Kingdom of Thailand, she only transits there to switch to another airline for her flight to AMS.
I read in the FAQ section of the user guide for the completing of the DTAC form that passengers on technical or transit flights do NOT have to fill out this form. Can you confirm this please?
Thank you!
Dear Guy,
That is correct. Transit passengers who do not need to pass through passport control at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport are not required to submit TDAC.
Thank you.
Tx a lot fr yr quick response, Rex, appreciated!
Would be helpful if embassy website provides link for TDAC online application ….

Hello Ricardo,
The TDAC must be applied for within 3 days prior to your arrival. If you apply too early, the system will not allow you to proceed. However, if you still encounter an error, you can complete the TDAC at the airport, where staff will be available to assist you.
i will be flying by Emirates Airline to Bangkok from Madrid. I will be in transit in Dubai airport but will not leave the airport and will not go into Dubai. For the purpose of the form does that count as staying in a country? Regards
Dear Michael,
Yes, for the purpose of the form, you may include the UAE since you will also provide it as the country where you boarded the flight to Thailand.

If I am entering for 2 nights before going to Bhatan for a week and then returning to Thailan for 2 weeks of touring and attending a conference do I need two TDAC submittals?
Dear Jon,
Yes, every time you will enter Thailand or you will pass through Passport Control at Thailand Airport, you need to submit TDAC. You may do the TDAC submission even a day or two prior to your arrival date in Thailand.
What is the sub district of GM towers 39 Sukhumvit Soi 20, Bangkok 10110
Thank you
Terry OConnor
Dear Terry,
I believe the District is Khlong Toei and the subdistrict is Klong Tan.

Thank you for this TDAC guide and background information on the TM6 form. I have seen several fake websites like tdac.info and tdac.in.th and tdac.agents.co.th ranking high on Google and trying to manipulate other search results to trick people. Please be sure to use the official website only for all (free) TDAC submissions:

I am staying in various hotels in different parts of Thailand (Single Trip). Do I have to list the addresses of all of them on the TDAC, or just the first one? What if my travel plans change during my stay?
Hello Barry,
Only list the first place you will be staying on the TDAC.
This process greatly enhances Thailand’s immigration system and provides added convenience for travelers.
Hello,
i need some help regarding the TDAC with information below :
TH Digital Arrival Card No. :
the problem is, i have not yet received the email from the immigration bureau of Thailand. i have checked the email address and i tried different email address too, but still i have not receive the email.
can you help me with this. Thank you very much.
Hello Mangiring,
Check your spam folder, or submit your TDAC upon arrival at the airport.
Hi I hope you can help , can you submit your TDAC prior to 3 days before arriving as I’m trying to fill out arrival card on line and it’s not letting me go to step 3 . I don’t arrive in Thailand until July .
Thank you
Hello Robert,
The TDAC can only be submitted starting 3 days before your scheduled arrival date. This is why the system is not allowing you to proceed right now. You will be able to complete the form once you are within that 3-day window before your arrival.
Do you have to fill in TADC CARD IN CAPITAL LETTERS
Hi Robert,
The TDAC form automatically changes your letters to capital letters as you type. You don’t need to worry about formatting it yourself. Just make sure the information is accurate and clearly entered.
The new system is too complicated to do on your phone not everyone owns a mobile device
If I`m a dual citizen, do I need a TDAC if I travel to Thailand on my Australian passport.
Yes
Dear Sirs.
The TDAC document can be used for multiple or single entry, does TDAC have expiry date…
if I enter and exit after 1 week, do I hv to apply a new TDAC to enter again after 2 weeks. ? Thank you.
Dear Abd,
The TDAC is valid for a single use. Each time you plan to enter Thailand, you need to submit a new TDAC within 3 days before your arrival. So if you exit and return after 2 weeks, you will need to apply for a new TDAC before re-entering.
Good day. I’m asking if it’s mandatory or optional.tdac ? , I have a Thai passport
Hello wanthani,
Thai nationals are not required to file a TDAC unless they hold dual nationality and enter Thailand using a non-Thai passport.
Hi I’m trying to apply for a digital card
Hi Darren,
You can apply for the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) through the official website here: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
grateful for this step by step instruction
Unless I missed it, there doesn’t seem to be anywhere in the TDAC form to input your email address. This would make it very difficult for the system to email back the TDAC confirmation. This won’t bother a friend of mine arriving on 2nd May who doesn’t have an email address. All shaping up to be an epic disaster on the opening day!
So far I have visited Thailand approx. 30 times without any problems.
This is over due to your unexpected burocratic approach.
I am sad, because I live Thailand.
Endre Rakosi from Melbourne
Can i fill out a TDAC a month before i intend to travel? Can i just take a photo of the QR code?

Just checking when can i complete the TDAC? I’m going to Phuket in November
1st of May 2025
