Marriage Registration – How long?

Thai Marriage Registration

I am only going to be in BKK for 2 days and then we go to Khon Kaen for the wedding. I have been told that all of these items can be done in one or two days. I have also been told that the affirmation I get from the embassy does not have to be translated to Thai, for the Amphur.

There would be several documents needed in order to proceed with the legal marriage registration in Thailand. All of these include Thai translations and legalization of documents obtained at the US embassy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The district officer shall not accept paperwork not translated and legalized.
